Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Stag respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you browse our website, create an account, place an order, make a payment, request delivery, contact support, subscribe to updates, or submit a return/refund request; how that information is used and shared; and the choices available to you.

By using this website or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will seek that consent before carrying out the relevant processing.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information reasonably required to operate our online store, fulfil orders, provide customer support, prevent misuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Depending on how you use the website, this may include:

  • Identity and contact information: name, email address, mobile number and other contact details you provide.
  • Account information: login/account details, saved preferences, wishlist information and account activity.
  • Billing and delivery information: billing address, shipping address, city, state, country, postal/PIN code and recipient contact details.
  • Order information: products purchased, size/variation information, quantity, price, discounts, taxes, shipping charges, order status, cancellation status and order history.
  • Payment-related information: payment method, transaction status, payment reference/identifier, refund status and amounts. Full card credentials, CVV or similar sensitive payment credentials are generally collected and processed by the authorised payment gateway rather than by Stag.
  • Delivery and tracking information: courier details, AWB/tracking number, shipment status, delivery events and delivery-related communications.
  • Return and refund evidence: return reason/description, photographs, video proof, admin review notes, refund reference details and related communications when you request a return or refund.
  • Customer-support information: messages, support tickets, complaints, feedback and other communications you send to us.
  • Marketing information: your email address and communication preferences if you subscribe to newsletters, offers or promotional updates.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser/device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps and similar information that may be recorded by our web server, security tools, cookies or analytics services when enabled.

2. How we collect information

Information may be collected directly from you when you register, place an order, enter a delivery address, contact us, subscribe, submit a return request or otherwise provide information through the website. We may also receive necessary information from payment gateways, courier/logistics providers, fraud-prevention tools, hosting or technology providers, and other service providers involved in completing your transaction or supporting the website.

3. How we use your information

We may use personal information to:

  • Create and manage your customer account and preferences.
  • Process, confirm, fulfil, deliver and track orders.
  • Calculate and display applicable prices, discounts, taxes and shipping charges.
  • Process payment confirmations, cancellations, returns and refunds.
  • Verify return requests and review submitted product photographs or video evidence.
  • Send transactional communications such as order, payment, dispatch, delivery, cancellation, return and refund updates.
  • Respond to enquiries, complaints, support requests and disputes.
  • Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorised transactions and security incidents.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the website, products, services and customer experience.
  • Maintain accounting, tax, audit and transaction records and comply with lawful requests or applicable legal obligations.
  • Send offers or marketing communications where permitted. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.

4. Payments

Online payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Razorpay. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own privacy and security practices. We generally receive only the information needed to confirm and reconcile a transaction, such as the payment status, amount and transaction/reference identifier.

For refunds, we may transmit the minimum information required to the relevant payment provider to initiate or verify the refund. For Cash on Delivery or other refund methods, additional bank/UPI or refund-reference information may be requested where necessary to complete and document the refund.

5. Shipping, delivery, returns and refunds

To fulfil and track orders, necessary order and delivery information may be shared with courier and logistics providers such as Shiprocket and its courier partners. This can include the recipient's name, mobile number, email address where required, delivery address, postal/PIN code, order value, package information, product description and payment/COD status.

If you submit a return request, the description, product photograph and video proof you provide are used to verify the request, investigate product condition, prevent fraudulent claims, communicate with you, and determine whether a return/refund should be approved. Return evidence is not intended for public display and should not contain unrelated personal or sensitive information.

6. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep the website functional, maintain your session/cart, remember preferences, improve performance, understand website usage and protect the website against misuse. Analytics or advertising tools, if enabled, may also use cookies or pixels to measure traffic and campaign effectiveness.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent cart, login, checkout or other website features from functioning correctly. Please also review our Cookie Policy where available.

7. Information we share

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary to:

  • Payment gateways, banks and payment-processing partners for transactions, fraud checks and refunds.
  • Shipping, courier, fulfilment and logistics partners for pickup, delivery, tracking and return processing.
  • Hosting, cloud, email, SMS, analytics, security, technical-support and other service providers that help us operate the website.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, insurers or legal advisers where reasonably necessary.
  • Government, regulatory, judicial or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.
  • A successor or acquiring organisation in connection with a genuine merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

Service providers are expected to use the information for the services they provide and subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including order fulfilment, customer support, returns/refunds, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, tax, audit and legal requirements. Different categories of information may therefore be kept for different periods.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to technical, backup and legal-retention requirements.

9. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. However, no internet transmission, website, database or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Protect your account: Never share your password or OTP with anyone. Stag will not ask you to disclose your account password through email, chat or a phone call.

10. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and any lawful record-retention requirements, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion/erasure of eligible personal information; withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; update your communication preferences; or raise a grievance about how your information is handled.

Some information cannot be deleted immediately where we are required to retain transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute or other records, or where retention is otherwise permitted by law. Withdrawing certain information or consent may also affect our ability to provide account, checkout, delivery or support services.

Promotional emails may be stopped using the unsubscribe option provided in those communications. Transactional messages related to an active order, payment, delivery, return, refund, account-security matter or legal notice may still be sent when necessary.

11. Children's privacy

Although our products may include clothing or products intended for children, this website and its purchasing/account services are intended to be used by adults or by persons legally capable of entering into a purchase transaction. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children who are not legally able to provide it. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorisation, please contact us so we can review the matter.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, social networks, payment pages, courier tracking pages or other services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

13. Data storage and transfers

Our website and service providers may process or store information in India or in other locations where their infrastructure operates. Where personal information is transferred or processed outside your location, we take reasonable steps to use service providers and arrangements appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements.

14. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, payment/shipping partners, business practices or legal requirements. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or other appropriate channels.

15. Contact and privacy grievances

If you have a privacy question, want to exercise an available privacy right, believe information we hold about you is inaccurate, or wish to raise a grievance, please use our Contact Us page. To help us verify and respond to your request, include your name, registered email/mobile number where applicable, and the relevant order number if the request concerns a transaction.

Please do not send passwords, OTPs, full card numbers, CVV details or other unnecessary sensitive credentials in a privacy or support request.
